Parliament Hill

Yesterday I audited the field trip component of my friend Harry Turner's photography course - a course I took two or three times way back in the silver-based era of photography. We trooped around Canada's Parliament Buildings and here are my favorite images.

  1. Parliament, huh? So you must have traveled all the way from Ottawa to the capital, Toronto....

As a fellow parliament building enthusiast, I love the pix! The guard in the library is a great shot. But come clean -- are the B&Ws digital or on actual film?

  2. I dare you to step foot in Ottawa and make such a blazen remark!!!

It's all digital. Largely because I am and always have been rubbish at adjusting colour tones, and in several of those scenes there was a tricky mixture of sun and incandescent light. Black and white is the easy solution

  4. Could be the one in Canada ... or could be the one that's here or here or here or even here.
