Explosion on Jalalabad Road
There was another explosion near my office just now. Sharky and I are fine.
Everything I've done, pondered doing, wished I'd done, and forgotten to do that's fit to print. (Premise for what I try to do: World=Oyster.)

Tom - didn't enjoy J Road much when there, but did travel out that way several timnes to Camp Phoenix and Supreme. I sure feel for all those poor shop owners along the south side of the road. Wonder if you go that way much? divad
ReplyDeleteThanks for the updates. Thinking about you.
ReplyDeleteDear Island UD - I pass there every working day as my office is at the UNOCA compound. More often if I have meetings back in town.
ReplyDeleteBen-Bob - thanks, thinking about you too!
Tom - oh yes... that reminds me of going out that way in late 06 and early 07. I was at the compound to look over equipment the UN was selling... lots of stuff!! (
ReplyDeletewe ended up with two Russian jeeps!) I have pictures of the giant pile of ballot boxes, with ballots still in them... hope they used then again. I also visited the UN design group once, don't know if anyone is still there. I think we had a couple of meals there as well... funny how things start coming back from memory. What area is your home in? - divad
Tom,
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you are well.
Any thoughts on the election process? Can you describe what you saw in your area on election day?
